This song and video have beautiful images of Mexico City, that lovely metropolis of 13 million people with its combination of old and new. And an awesome voice with a handsome man.

Alejandro Fernandez: Like Losing a Star
I have found a new singer to feed my yearning for the music of my homeland. And, he has a sweet, elegant voice and performs new songs rather than revisiting the well-worn songs of his father and other traditional songs. The music is infectious and creative. This song is a fusion between Mexican ballads and Spanish Tango and performed as a duet with a Peruvian performer, La Cigala. Here is my favorite song and a sample lyric:
Like Someone who Loses a Star:
I love you, I say as a lament,
Like a complaint carried all over by the winds
What a shame to have lost you like someone who loses a star suddenly and forever.
Like Someone who Loses a Star:
I love you, I say as a lament,
Like a complaint carried all over by the winds
What a shame to have lost you like someone who loses a star suddenly and forever.
