Heart Of Mine (Cover)
"You can play with fire, but you will get the bill." Heart of Mine, Bob Dylan. I prefer Maria Muldaur's cover, but there is no video of Maria's version. It is a very healing song and I love listening to it.

Mr. Martines sells waters to Tea Party attendees, Austin Texas
When I visited the Texas Capital on a hot Saturday morning, I happened upon on ongoing Tea Party rally. They had about 200 hundred attendees and speaker after speaker detailed their support of SB1070, their concerns over Socialist Obama and one spoke about the schools textbooks and teaching gone wrong. There were many signs against immigrants and in support of SB1070, Arizona's segregationist law aimed at immigrants from Mexico and Central America. I took many pictures, but this one was the most compelling of them all to me. Many of these Tea Parties stopped to buy water and iced popsicles from Mr. Martinez, a Mexican immigrant. Then, they went a few steps down and chanted and nodded their heads at the current effort to throw all undocumented workers out. When I pointed to Mr. Martinez what his customers were doing, he just said, "Oh lOrd the gringos are crazy". He said he hoped to sell enough water and popsicles to the Tea Parties to make $200 that day. I think he probably made it! I just go so inspired and reassured by the attitude of Mr. Martinez because it is the standard attitude of immigrants: resilient and hopeful! He was determined to achieve his goals of selling $200 worthy of water and iced popsicles and his would be oppressors were fine customers. I just loved it and realized how much of a common experience it is for immigrants to do regularly and to have the strength of character to maintain your belief in yourself, your faith in your own ability and goodness while putting aside the hate aimed at you and your people.
Oh Lord, do I love this man!
Bob Dylan, he nurtures my soul and has been such a lovely, tender and intelligent force in my life. He is on fire and so lovely at the Newport Festival, 1963-1965

Alejandro Fernandez - Como Quien Pierde Una Estrella (Siempre en Domingo...
I discovered this lovely maybe a year ago and this is a song that I just love and hear it over and over it. It is so very sweet and the lyrics are so beautiful. Plus, he is soo beautiful as well.
Lyric: "I love you, I say it like a whisper, a lament that the winds carry everywhere. I love you, what a shame to have lost you, the way one loses a star to infinity."
Lyric: "I love you, I say it like a whisper, a lament that the winds carry everywhere. I love you, what a shame to have lost you, the way one loses a star to infinity."
Boots of Spanish Leather
Recently, I have been drawn back to the poet of my heart, Bob Dylan. This song is so loving and beautiful and full of heart at a moment of a breakup.
"Oh, but I thought you may have want something back, made of silver or golden . . . I may be gone for a long, long time and it is only that I am asking: is there something I can send you to make your time more easy passing. How can, how can you ask me again! It only brings me sorrow. The same thing that I would want today, I would want again tomorrow."

Quote of the day
"Took an untrodden path once, where the swift don’t win the race
It goes to the worthy, who can divide the word of truth
Took a stranger to teach me, to look into justice’s beautiful face
And to see an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth"-I and I, Bob Dylan
It goes to the worthy, who can divide the word of truth
Took a stranger to teach me, to look into justice’s beautiful face
And to see an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth"-I and I, Bob Dylan

Amiga - Miguel Bose

No
No
No
No, No, No, No
Aunue me juraras que mucho has cambiado
No
No
No, No, No, No
Aunue me juraras que mucho has cambiado
para mi lo nuestro ya esta terminado
no me pidas nunca que vuelva jamas.

UNOFFICIAL ANTHEM OF THE MEXICANS
Song of my beloved mother and both the death and birth of my people. Both an elegy and a eulogy of our spirit, our endurance, our survival and to our eternal loss.
